Jujuy municipalities implement infrastructure and technology initiatives
Various municipalities in the Jujuy province of Argentina are advancing local infrastructure and community development projects. In San Salvador de Jujuy, authorities have activated a traffic signaling plan involving 20 strategic points to improve pedestrian safety and vehicle circulation. Additionally, the city is offering a free course on Applied Artificial Intelligence at the Jorge Cafrune Digital Point to promote digital skills.
In San Pedro de Jujuy, Mayor Julio Bravo inaugurated new paving on Gino Street between the Bernacchi and Horacio Guzmán neighborhoods, noting that such works improve property values and quality of life despite national funding challenges. Meanwhile, in Uruguay, the municipality has awarded contracts for new paving in the San Roque and Vicente Óbrego neighborhoods to enhance road connectivity.
Furthermore, San Salvador de Jujuy is considering a project to install a monument on Campero Street to honor retired security force members, providing a dedicated space for commemorative activities.
