Los Guandules police arrest man for alleged domestic violence

Police in the Los Guandules sector of the Distrito Nacional arrested 46-year-old Florencio Lorenzo Lorenzo following an alleged domestic violence incident involving his partner, Yarizsa Sosa.

Neighbors alerted authorities after hearing screams from the residence. During the intervention, police reported difficulties entering the home as the suspect initially attempted to block access and tried to exit through the rear of the property. The victim reportedly assisted officers by throwing a house key to them to facilitate entry. The suspect remains in custody and will be brought before the Public Ministry for legal proceedings.
