San Severo mourns death of Bar dello Sport owner Francesco Piccaluga

The community of San Severo is mourning the death of Francesco Piccaluga, the 43-year-old owner of ‘Bar dello Sport’. Piccaluga died on Saturday, September 12, after falling from the third floor of a building on via Giulio Cesare.

He is survived by his wife and daughter. Local residents and social media users have shared numerous tributes, describing him as a ‘gentle giant’ and an exemplary father and husband.

Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, September 15, at 9:30 a.m. at the Sacra Famiglia church, where a wake has been established.
