San Vicente del Raspeig records 120 speed violations in 40 minutes as police use mobile radar

Local police in San Vicente del Raspeig used a mobile radar on Río Turia street and recorded 120 speeding infractions within a 40‑minute period. Fines range from €100 to €600 and may include penalty points. The municipality is reviewing the data and will consider specific road‑safety measures and possible structural improvements to the street.

The city council also announced changes to the urban bus service. Six stops on line 45 will be removed, while the line will receive higher frequency and a shorter travel time. A new demand‑responsive transport (TAD) system and an additional line to the Los Manchegos neighbourhood are being introduced as part of the new transport contract.
