San Vicente police destroy 79 illegal motorcycle exhausts

The Misiones Police destroyed 79 non-compliant motorcycle exhaust pipes in San Vicente on Friday. The items had been seized during various vehicle control operations aimed at addressing excessive noise and backfiring that disturb local residents.

The destruction took place at the local impound lot around 10:00 AM, overseen by Municipal Infractions Judge Dr. Abel A. Melenchuk. This action follows Municipal Ordinance No. 07/26, which dictates the procedure for handling such confiscated items to prevent their reuse.

These enforcement actions are part of a collaborative effort between the police and the municipality to discourage the use of modified exhausts, reduce noise pollution, and promote compliance with traffic regulations for better public coexistence.
