San Vittore Olona to honor historian Giacomo Agrati

The Alcide De Gasperi Association in San Vittore Olona will host a special event on Friday, October 9, to honor the memory of local historian and writer Giacomo Agrati. The evening, titled ‘Ha voluto bene al suo paese’ (He loved his country), marks the 25th anniversary of the publication of his book, ‘Quelli della neve’.

Agrati, a founding member of the association and a former local administrator, spent over forty years documenting the history and traditions of the community, including local mills and historical frescoes. The event will feature a welcome by association president Marco Rotondi, a presentation by Claudio Rossetti of the National Association of Combatants and Veterans, and will be moderated by Martino Gianazza.
