Sanada Ten Yushi costume exhibition opens in Tokyo

An exhibition featuring actual costumes from the upcoming ninja action drama ‘Sanada Ten Yushi: Shadows of the Ten Ninja’ has opened at TOKYO DREAM PARK in Ariake, Tokyo. The series, starring Snow Man member Hikaru Iwamoto, is scheduled to premiere on TV Asahi on October 23.

The display includes the authentic attire worn by the main characters: Sarutobi Sasuke (played by Iwamoto), Kirigakure Saizo (played by Taishi Nakagawa), and Hattori Hanzo (played by Shido Nakamura). The exhibition also features scene photo panels to help visitors experience the world of the show.

Set 14 years after the Battle of Sekigahara, the story blends historical facts with fiction to follow ten fictional retainers of the warlord Sanada Yukimura. The production utilized full-scale filming in Kyoto and incorporates modern visual technology to depict the struggle of these ninjas against the absolute power of Tokugawa Ieyasu.
