The Foundation of the Islamic Revolution Housing Foundation has begun the reconstruction of buildings damaged during the Ramadan War in Sanandaj. The foundation pouring for the first commercial-residential building, located at 12 Farvardin Square, was completed on Thursday, October 8 (16 Mehr).

Assessments by the reconstruction headquarters in Kurdistan Province indicate that 13,149 residential and commercial units were damaged across the province. Of these, 150 units require complete reconstruction. In Sanandaj specifically, 49 units have been identified as needing reconstruction or modernization.

To facilitate the process, the Foundation is working with municipalities, village administrations, and the Engineering Organization to prepare maps and issue building permits.
