Sanctuary Golf launches documentary following veteran caddy learning to play

Sanctuary Golf, in collaboration with morow Co., Ltd., has launched a documentary project featuring Tomohiro Watanabe, a professional caddy with 15 years of experience who has never actually played a round of golf.

Starting in September 2026 at the Sanctuary Golf Tsukuba branch, the project will document Watanabe’s journey from a complete beginner to his goal of making a course debut in 2027. The progress, including the challenges and anxieties of learning the sport from scratch, will be shared via social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.

The initiative aims to encourage other beginners by demonstrating that starting golf is accessible, utilizing Sanctuary Golf’s specialized indoor facilities, rental equipment, and structured lesson programs.
