Sand in My Boots Festival announced for return in 2027
Organizers have announced that the Sand in My Boots Festival will return to Gulf Shores, Alabama, in May 2027. The announcement follows a hiatus in 2026, after the festival's inaugural 2025 edition saw significant success.
The 2025 event, which took over the grounds previously used by Hangout Music Fest, featured a diverse lineup including Morgan Wallen, Post Malone, Brooks & Dunn, and HARDY. Local officials, including Gulf Shores Mayor Robert Craft, praised the 2025 crowd for being well-behaved and disciplined compared to previous years.
While the 2027 lineup remains unconfirmed, organizers expect to release details in November. It has not yet been officially determined if Morgan Wallen will perform at the upcoming event.
