Sandbox Interactive partners with ACE and Tencent Cloud for Albion Online security

Anti-Cheat Expert (ACE) and Tencent Cloud have entered into a partnership agreement with German game developer Sandbox Interactive GmbH, announced at Gamescom.

As part of this collaboration, the Android client for the sandbox MMORPG Albion Online will integrate the ACE Anti-Cheat Standard. The protected version of the game is scheduled to launch by the third quarter of 2026. The integration follows over a year of technical evaluation and testing.

ACE provides a security framework designed to manage risks throughout the game lifecycle, including anti-cheat protection, client hardening, and in-game economic risk management. This is intended to protect competitive fairness and player assets within Albion Online’s player-driven economy.
