SanDisk launches Pokémon-themed SSD and flash drives

SanDisk has announced two new officially licensed storage devices to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Pokémon. The collection features themed hardware designed for collectors and digital users, focusing on the characters Mew and Mewtwo.

The Pokémon Portable SSD, Mewtwo Edition, is available in 500GB and 1TB capacities. It offers read speeds of up to 1,000MB/s and is built to withstand drops of up to two meters. While the design features tactile 2D elements for aesthetic appeal, it does not include Pokémon-specific software functionality.

The second product, the Pokémon USB-C Flash Drive, Mew Edition, provides up to 128GB of storage. This compact drive is designed for use with compatible USB-C smartphones, tablets, and computers, facilitating easy data transfer without the need for cloud services.
