SanDisk stock soars over 3,000% as analysts weigh future upside

SanDisk (NASDAQ:SNDK) has experienced an extraordinary rally, climbing roughly 3,200%–3,460% over the past twelve months. The share price has risen from about $35 a year ago to more than $1,300, with recent trades near $1,380.

The surge is attributed to the company's positioning in the AI‑driven memory market. Citi analysts have responded by raising their price target by 56% to $2,000, making it one of several firms to set a target at that level. Other market commentators, however, caution that the run may have limited further upside.

These developments have placed SanDisk among the most talked‑about semiconductor names in the market, highlighting both the rapid demand for AI‑centric memory solutions and the uncertainty about sustaining such extreme gains.
