Sandomierz celebrates annual feast of Blessed Wincenty Kadłubek

Annual feast day celebrations were held in Sandomierz in honor of Blessed Wincenty Kadłubek, the patron of the city and the Diocese of Sandomierz. The festivities included a central Mass presided over by Bishop Krzysztof Nitkiewicz.

The event featured a procession carrying the relics of Blessed Wincenty Kadłubek through the streets of the Old Town. Participants included Cistercian abbots, local government authorities, members of cathedral chapters, clergy, and various religious communities. The presence of the Sandomierz Knighthood and local youth in historical costumes highlighted the city's rich history and its connection to the medieval chronicler.
