Sandra Bullock addresses social media scams and Practical Magic 2
Sandra Bullock has addressed her decision to join social media, revealing she launched an Instagram account to combat scammers using her name and likeness to defraud fans. Bullock noted that the impersonators caused significant distress to her family and followers, stating, “About a year and a half ago, I had to because there were people that were using my name and likeness to scam money out of people.”
In addition to her social media presence, details regarding the upcoming sequel “Practical Magic 2” have emerged. The film is scheduled for release in September 2026, with a runtime of just under 130 minutes. Bullock will reprise her role alongside Nicole Kidman, with the story adapting Alice Hoffman’s 2021 novel “The Book of Magic.”
During production, Bullock also provided a public endorsement for Jennifer Aniston’s haircare brand, LolaVie, praising the product on set. The sequel features a mix of returning cast members and new additions, including Joey King and Maisai Williams, and is directed by Susanne Bier.
