Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman Promote Practical Magic Sequel at Hollywood Cemetery Screening

Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman made a surprise appearance at a Cinespia screening of the 1998 cult film Practical Magic at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery in Los Angeles. The duo introduced the upcoming sequel, Practical Magic 2, and thanked fans for their support. Bullock, who returns as Sally Owens, said, “[Practical Magic] is the perfect movie to show at a cemetery,” while Kidman, playing Gillian Owens, added, “Thank you for all your support for getting this second film made.”

The sequel, directed by Susanne Bier and set 25 years after the original, will open in theaters on September 11. New cast members include Joey King and Maisie Williams as Sally’s adult daughters, with Lee Pace, Xolo Maridueña, and returning stars Dianne Wiest and Stockard Channing joining the ensemble. A one‑night re‑release of the original film is scheduled for August 11 to build anticipation.
