Sandra Bullock recalls memory loss during 2010 Oscar win
Actress Sandra Bullock has shared reflections on her 2010 Academy Award win for Best Actress in ‘The Blind Side’, revealing she has almost no memory of the night due to extreme exhaustion.
During an appearance on ‘Live with Kelly and Mark’, the 62-year-old actress explained that she was secretly caring for her newborn son, Louis, at the time. Because his acid reflux caused him to wake every two hours, Bullock had managed only about two hours of sleep. She noted that her primary focus was returning home to feed him rather than celebrating the historic achievement.
Bullock recalled that after the ceremony and after-party, she returned home still wearing her evening gown because she was unable to get out of it. She described a scene where she sat with her son with the Oscar trophy on the floor and the baby in her lap. The actress also noted that her experiences with motherhood have since influenced her career, as she now prioritizes roles that allow her to be present for her children.
