Sandra Kubicka reveals harsh online harassment and departure from Poland after matcha product launch

Polish model and influencer Sandra Kubicka launched a branded tea product called "Sandra's Matcha". The release sparked a wave of online criticism, including a viral video in which a homeless man was shown tasting the matcha and declaring it "disgusting". Kubicka said the incident and other hateful comments were amplified by social‑media algorithms, turning her name into a trending hashtag.

During an interview on Ewa Chodakowska's program, Kubicka described the relentless harassment and its impact on her mental health. She explained that the pressure forced her to pack her belongings, take her young son Leos, and leave Poland for a month, staying in Greece to seek peace. The experience, she said, was a direct result of the intense online backlash surrounding her product and personal life.
