Sandra Lee criticizes landscaping at former Westchester estate

Cookbook author Sandra Lee has faced public backlash after posting a video on Instagram criticizing the landscaping of her former estate, Lily Pond, in Westchester County. The property, which she once shared with former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, was sold by Lee in 2020 for $1.85 million.

In the video, Lee described the yard as a “disaster” and “tragic,” complaining about overgrown wisteria, lily pads, and weeds. She claimed the landscaping was “lazy” and expressed distress over the state of the property. Following significant criticism from social media users regarding her comments and potential trespassing, Lee deleted the post and disabled comments on her account.

This is not the first time Lee has commented on the estate; reports indicate she previously visited the property in 2023 and expressed emotional distress regarding its upkeep.
