Sandra Quintero appointed chair of BfT

The Federal Association for Animal Health (BfT) has announced a leadership restructuring. Sandra Quintero has assumed the role of board chair, succeeding Julia von Gablenz, who is leaving the board.

Quintero, who has been with Boehringer Ingelheim since 2009 and currently serves as Managing Director of Animal Health Germany, brings extensive international experience in both companion and livestock animal sectors. Dr. Thomas Krähenbühl, Vice President for Germany, Austria, and Switzerland and Managing Director of Zoetis Germany, has joined the board as a new member.

Quintero stated that the industry aims to represent its interests with a strong, unified voice to ensure reliable frameworks that enable innovation in animal health, sustainable agriculture, and the protection of human and animal health.
