Everytime wins Best Film at Alice nella Città 2026
Sandra Wollner’s film “Everytime” has been named the Best Film at the 24th edition of the Alice nella Città film festival. The decision was made by an international jury composed of 35 young people between the ages of 16 and 19.
The Austrian-German drama follows a mother, a daughter, and an adolescent traveling to Tenerife following a tragic loss. The jury praised the film for its visual construction of grief and its exploration of loss and rebirth, noting that the direction manages to engage the viewer even through a sense of emotional distance.
Other notable winners include: • “We Are Aliens” by Kohei Kadowaki, which received a special mention for its use of rotoscoping to explore diversity and personal growth. • “Senza chiedere permesso” by Giacomo Mazzariol, which won the Raffaella Fioretta Award for Italian Cinema for its portrayal of disability without rhetoric or pity. • Elena Funari, who received a special mention for Best Actress for “È un mondo difficile”. • Pierluca Di Pasquale, who received a special mention for directing.
