Sandrine Tas has signed a contract extension to remain with the Lotto-Intermarché cycling team for the upcoming season. The 31-year-old athlete transitioned to professional cycling in March following a successful career in long-track speed skating, where she was a two-time Olympian.
During her debut season with the Belgian team, Tas achieved several notable results, including two stage wins at the Bretagne Ladies Tour, silver in the Belgian national time trial championship, and bronze in the road race. She also competed in the Tour de France Femmes.
Tas expressed her desire to continue building her career with the team, specifically noting her intention to target the spring classics. She also highlighted the importance of maintaining her professional collaboration with her coach, Arno Claeys.
