Sandro Alex pushes SUS table reform and bilingual public schools in Paraná

Sandro Alex, the PSD pre‑candidate for governor of Brazil's Paraná state, announced two major policy proposals. He called for an update to the SUS reimbursement table and increased financing for philanthropic hospitals, saying the measures would "advance the SUS table, reinforce funding and create fair compensation so hospitals can expand care." Alex also pledged to introduce and expand bilingual education in the state's public schools, arguing that learning a new language “opens doors to the world” for Paraná’s youth and builds on the current government’s international exchange programmes.

The health proposal cites the São Paulo model as a reference, with support from other pre‑candidates such as Sérgio Moro and Rafael Greca, while the education plan seeks to integrate bilingual classrooms into existing curricula, continuing the policies of Governor Ratinho Júnior.
