Sandro Paci, veteran Marche journalist, dies at 67

Sandro Paci, a prominent journalist in the Marche region, has died at the age of 67. A veteran of the profession, Paci held the position of deputy editor at Il Messaggero and was a member of the Marche Journalists' Order.

Throughout his career, Paci was deeply connected to local sports, particularly football. He was one of the first television commentators for Ascoli Calcio on Tva Ascoli and spent nearly thirty years reporting on the activities of Sambenedettese. His professional journey included roles in various newsrooms across Ascoli Piceno, San Benedetto del Tronto, Ancona, and Pescara.

Local officials remembered him as an objective and punctual chronicler of city affairs. He is survived by his wife, two children, and several family members.
