Sandy discusses media-driven female rivalry on Saia Justa

Singer Sandy appeared on the program ‘Saia Justa’ to discuss female rivalry and the challenges of addressing sexuality across generations. During the discussion with hosts Eliana, Bela Gil, Erika Januza, Juliette, and Tati Machado, Sandy addressed how the media has historically orchestrated comparisons and conflicts between women.

Specifically, Sandy addressed the long-standing public perception of a rivalry between herself and singer Wanessa Camargo. She clarified that the competition was a media creation and did not exist in reality. Sandy noted that despite magazine covers in the 2000s portraying them as opposites, the two artists actually maintained a good relationship, traveled together, and shared similar backgrounds.
