Sandzak Kurt Named General Director of Limak Skopje

The Turkish construction conglomerate Limak Group announced the appointment of Sandzak Kurt as the new general director of its Macedonian subsidiary, Limak Skopje, succeeding Kurthan Apajdin. Kurt, a civil engineering graduate of Mustafa Kemal University in Turkey, began his career with Limak in 2005 and has held senior engineering and managerial roles on large‑scale infrastructure, energy and construction projects across Turkey, Albania, Saudi Arabia and North Macedonia.

During 2022‑2023 he led the “Diamond Skopje” project, a mixed‑use development that includes a shopping centre, a five‑star hotel, residential towers and commercial space, regarded as one of the country’s most significant private investments. The leadership change is presented as a move to ensure continuity, further investment development and long‑term partnerships for Limak Skopje.
