Sanepar to implement 25% discount on minimum water tariffs

Sanepar, the Paraná Sanitation Company, will implement a 25% discount on the minimum water and sewage tariff for its customers starting October 1. The reduction applies to the first five cubic meters of consumption.

The discount is applied automatically during payment and does not require registration or a formal request. This financial benefit follows a long legal dispute regarding federal tax credits (precatórios) involving improper income tax charges between 1994 and 1996.

Additionally, Sanepar is introducing a redesigned invoice layout to improve readability and comply with upcoming tax reform requirements. For the month of October, the invoices will feature a pink color to support breast cancer prevention awareness.
