Sangarthit Looksaikongdin to return to Muay Thai against Logan Chan

Sangarthit Looksaikongdin is set to return to Muay Thai competition after a seven-year hiatus. He will face Logan Chan in a bantamweight bout at The Inner Circle 30, held at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok on September 11.

During his time away from Muay Thai, Sangarthit maintained an undefeated 19-0 boxing record and secured the WBA Asia Super Lightweight World Title. Since joining ONE Championship, he has competed under kickboxing rules, posting a 3-1 record as part of a gradual transition back to the traditional Muay Thai format. His father, who serves as his chief strategist, advised the move through kickboxing first to adjust to the lack of elbows before returning to the more dangerous Muay Thai ruleset.

Chan enters the matchup with a 3-1 record in ONE Championship, including three knockout victories in the opening two rounds. For Sangarthit, the bout is an effort to establish a legacy independent of his brother-in-law, former ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Champion Rodtang Jitmuangnon.
