Sangüesa begins patron saint festivities for San Sebastián

The city of Sangüesa has officially launched its patron saint festivities in honor of San Sebastián. This year, the ceremonial lighting of the rocket was performed by a group of municipal public service employees.

Four representatives chosen from the entire staff—Javier Ramos Vega, Charo García Obrero, Helena Casajús Sola, and Maite Aragonés Los Arcos—delivered a bilingual proclamation in both Spanish and Basque. The participants noted the significance of the event, marking the first time the ceremonial responsibility was handed directly to the municipal workforce to represent all sectors, from music education to cleaning and administration.
