Italian municipalities allocate over €1.5 million for road and sidewalk upgrades

The comune of Sangiano will carry out road resurfacing works worth €200,000, financed from the municipal surplus. The project is split into two phases, the first starting in late June and covering streets such as Garibaldi, Manzoni and Piave, and the second in September‑October on streets including Battisti and Bellini.

In Aosta, the 2026 budget earmarks almost €1.5 million for infrastructure, with 82 % of the new resources directed to capital spending. The largest share, €1.48 million, will fund extraordinary maintenance of roads, sidewalks and related public spaces. Additional funds support digitalisation, environmental monitoring and other municipal services.
