Sangiano sports field to reopen after eight years

The sports field in Sangiano is set to reopen following eight years of inactivity. An official inauguration is scheduled for Sunday, September 20, starting at 10:00 AM.

The event will include activities for children, such as a safety-focused cycling course organized in collaboration with the Local Police. Following institutional speeches and the unveiling of a new sign, the reopening will be marked by a football match between Cittiglio FC and Biandronno Calcio.

Mayor Matteo Marchesi noted that the reopening follows the resolution of several long-standing issues, including a legal case that lasted several months, technical certification requirements, and a boundary dispute involving the neighboring municipality of Caravate.
