Sangju City begins public deliberation for integrated government complex

Sangju City has launched a public deliberation process regarding the construction of an integrated government complex. A citizen debate titled ‘Creating the Future Together with Citizens’ is scheduled for September 29 at the Cultural Center Grand Auditorium.

The initiative aims to gather diverse public opinions and build consensus before conducting a formal public opinion survey. The city plans to hold additional debates in October and November, while also maintaining a continuous communication channel through the ‘Citizen Communication Box’ on the official city website.

Mayor An Jae-min emphasized that providing sufficient information and listening to various voices through public deliberation is essential to resolving potential conflicts during the construction process.
