Sangmidang Holdings seeks North American expansion via Gellert Global Group

Sangmidang Holdings Vice Chairman Heo Jin-su met with key international figures in Paris to discuss expanding business cooperation in the North American market. During a partner event hosted by Gellert Global Group (GGG) at the U.S. Ambassador to France’s residence, Heo held discussions with GGG Chairman George Gellert and U.S. Ambassador Charles Kushner.

Sangmidang Holdings was the only Korean company invited to the gathering, which included representatives from approximately 80 companies. Following the meeting, Ambassador Kushner and Chairman Gellert visited the Samlip exhibition booth at the SIAL Paris 2026 food trade fair.

The two companies are currently reviewing plans to supply major mainstream markets and food ingredient distribution networks in the United States, while also exploring distribution channels in Canada and Mexico. Additionally, Heo engaged with European food ingredient and bakery manufacturing companies to support the expansion of Samlip and Paris Baguette businesses in Europe.
