Sanguinet: Man detained after wife found dead at home

A 69-year-old woman was found dead at her home in Sanguinet, Landes, on Tuesday. Authorities have taken her 68-year-old husband into custody following the incident.

According to sources close to the investigation, the man allegedly killed his wife during an argument and subsequently contacted the gendarmerie to turn himself in. His interrogation is currently ongoing. The Mont-de-Marsan prosecutor's office has not yet issued a formal response regarding the case.
