Sanguinetto hosts “I Poeti del Chiostro” poetry event

The cultural event “I Poeti del Chiostro” is scheduled to return to the Chiostro di Santa Maria delle Grazie in Sanguinetto on August 23, 2026. This series focuses on poetry, storytelling, music, and local folk culture.

The upcoming session will feature Vito Lonardi, known as “Vito delle Rocce,” a poet and storyteller who will present folk songs and traditional tales. The event aims to celebrate linguistic richness by including readings in Italian, Venetian, and various local dialects.

Organized by AmiAmo La Pianura APS through Pianura Culturale, the event is supported by the Province of Verona and the Municipality of Sanguinetto. The evening will be presented by poets Mario Bissoli and Jerry Brighenti, and admission is free.
