Sanja Papić marks 8‑year anniversary of husband Dragoslav Miša Ognjanović’s 2018 murder

On 28 July 2018, Serbian lawyer Dragoslav Miša Ognjanović was shot dead outside his New Belgrade residence while his wife Sanja Papić and their infant daughter watched. The assailant fled and has never been identified, despite a police investigation.

Eight years later, Sanja Papić posted a tribute on Instagram, sharing a photograph of her late husband and a song, and writing a brief message that highlighted the family's enduring love and grief. She noted that family, friends and colleagues gather at Belgrade’s New Cemetery to remember him each year.
