Sanjay Kumar Singh issues 50 crore rupee defamation notice to Tej Pratap Yadav

A legal dispute has escalated in Bihar between Public Health Engineering Department (PHED) Minister Sanjay Kumar Singh and Mahua MLA Tej Pratap Yadav. Minister Singh has issued a 50 crore rupee defamation notice to Yadav following allegations made in social media posts.

The controversy stems from posts by Tej Pratap Yadav, which alleged that Minister Singh engaged in inappropriate behavior with a female employee at a hotel during a trip to Delhi. Yadav also claimed that 25 lakh rupees were involved in an attempt to suppress the matter and called for a high-level investigation.

In response, Minister Singh has dismissed these claims as false and defamatory. The legal notice, issued by the Minister's counsel, demands that Yadav remove the relevant posts, issue an unconditional public apology, and provide written assurance against future comments of this nature. Singh has challenged Yadav to provide evidence, stating he would retire from politics if proof were presented. Yadav has responded by stating he is not intimidated and will not back down.
