Acclaimed Hindi film actor Sanjay Mishra has begun filming his debut project in Odia cinema. The production, an upcoming romantic entertainer produced by Auroshree Films, is currently underway in Bhubaneswar.

Directed by Mrutyunjay Sahoo, the film is described as a nostalgic romantic drama aimed at recreating the atmosphere of 1980s romance. The project features an ensemble cast including Mahasweta Ray, Bhumika Dash, Aakash Hota, Sanoj Kumar, Pragya Mishra, Sushant, and Krishna Kar.

The film is scheduled for release during the Durga Puja/Dussehra festive season in 2026. During his stay in Odisha, Mishra has also planned visits to the Jagannath Temple in Puri and the Lingaraj Temple in Bhubaneswar.
