Sanjay Raut challenges Amit Shah amid parliamentary standoff

Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut has issued a direct challenge to Union Home Minister Amit Shah following a standoff in Parliament. Raut rejected government allegations that the opposition was preventing the Home Minister from making a statement, asserting instead that the opposition demands the discussion of multiple unresolved issues.

Raut identified two primary concerns that have disrupted parliamentary proceedings for the past 15 days: allegations regarding the theft of offerings at the Ram Temple and reports concerning the use of pellet guns against children at Jantar Mantar. He maintained that both matters must be addressed together.

In his critique, Raut compared Shah’s public image as a strong leader to that of former Home Minister Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, stating that if the Home Minister considers himself a strong man, he should not be afraid. Raut added that despite facing arrests and police action, opposition leaders remain undeterred, concluding, “Now it is your turn to be afraid.”
