Sanjay Raut urges PM Modi to press China on Ladakh incursions

Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut has urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to demand the withdrawal of Chinese forces from disputed areas in Ladakh and Galwan during bilateral discussions with Chinese President Xi Jinping.

President Xi arrived in New Delhi on September 12 to attend the 18th BRICS summit and is scheduled to meet with Prime Minister Modi. Raut questioned the effectiveness of recent diplomatic efforts, noting that while 25 rounds of discussions have occurred over the last two years, there has been little improvement in bilateral relations.

Raut emphasized that the return of Indian land should be a priority before the normalization of ties. He contrasted the diplomatic approaches of various nations, describing China and the United States as ‘traders’ while praising the strength and self-respect shown by the Iranian President during his arrival in Delhi.
