England seals 3-0 T20I series victory over India in Bristol

England secured a 3‑0 lead in the five‑match T20 International series against India by winning the fourth match at the County Ground in Bristol. India posted 158/7, with captain Shreyas Iyer scoring an unbeaten 80. England chased the target in 13.5 overs, winning by nine wickets; Harry Brook made 79* off 35 balls and Phil Salt added 59* off 42 balls.

The series was already decided after England's dominant performance in the third Test at Trent Bridge, where they defeated India by 125 runs, bowling the world champions out for 76. The defeat marked back‑to‑back series losses for India – first such consecutive defeats since 2018‑19 – and left captain Iyer with a record of consecutive series losses. Iyer described the third‑match loss as “atrocious, I can’t use a better word, honestly.”

England’s bowlers Jofra Archer and Josh Tongue were instrumental in the third win, while the batting pair of Brook and Salt ensured a swift chase in the fourth. The series now heads to Southampton for the final match, with England aiming for a whitewash and India seeking to salvage pride.
