Sanko Seika launches limited-edition sweet potato Yuki no Yado

Sanko Seika Co., Ltd. is launching a limited-edition version of its long-selling rice cracker brand, Yuki no Yado. The new product, titled ‘18-piece Yuki no Yado Sweet Potato Flavor,’ will be available nationwide in Japan from August 17 through the end of October.

The snack utilizes Anno Imo powder from Kagoshima Prefecture, combined with butter and fresh cream to replicate the rich taste of freshly baked sweet potatoes. The product aims to capitalize on the growing popularity of sweet potato-based desserts. It maintains the brand's signature soft and crispy texture with a characteristic sweet and salty flavor profile. The retail price is approximately 280 yen including tax.
