Sanlúcar de Barrameda and Mansilla de las Mulas hold summer medieval festivals

On July 25 the Castillo de Santiago in Sanlúcar de Barrameda welcomed the Buhurt Zona Sur team, sub‑world champion of historical medieval combat, for live sword‑play demonstrations, audience interaction with warriors and a family‑friendly experience inside the 15th‑century fortress.

From July 24 to 26, the town of Mansilla de las Mulas staged its "Agenda Medieval" with a market, medieval clothing contest, theatrical performances, falconry displays, concerts and a themed dinner. The program required participants to dress in period costume and culminated on July 26 with a medieval joust and fireworks show.

Both events aim to immerse visitors in historical atmosphere, promote local tourism and offer cultural entertainment for all ages.
