Hanshin Tigers infielder Sano Taiyo has delivered standout performances during the Phoenix League. In a game against Nippon Ham on October 19, Sano hit a bases-clearing three-run triple in the second inning, contributing to a seven-run rally that helped Hanshin secure an 8-6 victory.

Following this, Sano recorded a walk-off hit in a game against the Shikoku Island League plus All-Stars. A 2024 fifth-round draft pick, the 24-year-old has yet to make his first-team debut, but his recent offensive production in the farm league has drawn attention as he seeks to secure a spot on the active roster.
