Sanofi hosts life sciences innovation summit at Anagni plant

Sanofi held an institutional meeting at its Anagni plant in the province of Frosinone to discuss innovation and sustainability within the life sciences industry. The event included representatives from the Italian government and the Lazio Region to address investment attractiveness, production chains, and manufacturing capabilities in Italy.

Sanofi reported investing approximately 70 million euros annually in Italy, with 45.2 million euros dedicated to research and development, 21.9 million for site transformation, and 1.6 million for personnel training. A study conducted with KPMG indicated that Sanofi’s activities in Lazio generated a 62 million euro contribution to the regional GDP in 2024, supporting over 120 local suppliers and contributing to approximately 1,050 jobs.
