Sanofi reports strong Q2 2026 revenue growth driven by Dupixent
Sanofi reported strong financial results for the second quarter of 2026, characterized by a 17.8 percent year-on-year increase in revenue, reaching 116 billion euros. The company's adjusted earnings per share (Business EPS) rose by 33.3 percent to 2.09 euros.
Growth was heavily driven by the immunology drug Dupixent, which generated 52 billion euros in revenue, a 37.6 percent increase compared to the previous year. Additionally, revenue from new product launches grew by 61.1 percent to 15 billion euros. Despite this growth, Sanofi has discontinued four major drug development projects, including candidates for respiratory and inflammatory bowel diseases, as part of a strategic review of its R&D activities.
In regional markets, Sanofi India shares saw a pre-opening increase of 1.40 percent to 3,242.10 rupees on August 18, 2026. In the United States, the American Depositary Receipt (ADR) also showed gains, rising approximately 1.56 percent to a price of 44.40 US dollars.
