Italian music festival organizers are reportedly planning a major overhaul of Sanremo 2027. According to a La Presse leak, host and artistic director Stefano De Martino is shaping a five‑night format that would feature two evenings where all the major artists (the “big” singers) perform, a third night dedicated to cover performances, a fourth night focused on the Eurovision Song Contest, and a final night with all participants returning for the finale.

The proposal also suggests reducing the total number of competing artists to 24‑26 to allow more space for guest acts and entertainment segments. While specific co‑host names have not been confirmed, rumors include Maria De Filippi and a comedic partner from De Martino’s previous shows.
