Sanremo Giovani 2026: First 15 artists selected

The selection process for Sanremo Giovani 2026 has entered its next phase following live auditions in Rome. A musical commission, led by artistic director Stefano De Martino, has selected the first 15 artists to advance in the competition.

The selected artists include several performers with previous television experience, such as Albe, Petit, and Plasma from ‘Amici’, as well as Les Votives and Rob from ‘X Factor’. Other advancing artists are Basim, Dubrazil, Florinda, Frambo, Gallas, Lea Gavino, Neartica, Occhi, Santamarea, and Selma.

The 2026 competition features a revised format designed to be more selective. The 15 artists from this selection will eventually be joined by 15 artists from the ‘Area Sanremo’ contest. From this combined group of 30, the commission will choose six finalists to compete in the ‘Sarà Sanremo’ televised final on December 11. The winner of that final will earn a spot in the ‘Campioni’ category at the 2027 Sanremo Festival.
