Sanriku Coast railway journey documented prior to 2011 earthquake

A travelogue recounts a journey through the Sanriku Coast in October 2010, six months prior to the Great East Japan Earthquake. The trip involved traveling via the Kesennuma Line, Ofunato Line, and the Sanriku Railway South Rias Line from Sendai to Kamaishi.

Reflecting on the journey ten years later, the author notes that the damaged sections of the Kesennuma and Ofunato Lines have since been replaced by Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) systems rather than being restored to rail service.
