Sanrio and Hobonichi announce Hello Kitty 2027 planner collaboration

Sanrio and Hobonichi have announced a collaboration for the 2027 edition of the Hobonichi Techo planner. The collection, titled ‘Hello Kitty Classic’, features designs inspired by the character’s popularity since the 1970s.

The product lineup includes 17 different items, such as planner covers in A5 and A6 sizes, weekly planners, clear covers, storage pouches, pen cases, clear files, and various stationery accessories like stickers and stamps. The designs depict Hello Kitty in special, playful poses unique to this collaboration, such as reading or interacting with the planners.

The collection is scheduled for release on September 1, 2026, through the Hobonichi online store, direct retail locations like TOBICHI, and various major retailers including Loft and Amazon. A new Hobonichi Techo store at Tokyo Station is also expected to carry the items upon its opening on September 16, 2026.
